Mid-June saw Munich hosting the annual automation and robotics expo, "Automatica". It was an opportunity for SAR to showcase it's diverse skill
and knowledge base to an international audience through several of it's projects and applications on display.
A Robot cooks bavarian sausages
One of the highlights at the Expo surely was the blue and white SAR "Weisswurst" robot.
Diverse applications such as camera recognition, via dosing through to gripper technology were displayed in a highly original way:
the cooking and serving of traditional Bavarian veal sausages (Weisswurst), together with mustard and pretzels of course!
Modern Test Systems
Another robot cell, a collaboration with partner Edevis, displayed the non-destructive testing of materials by means of phase thermography.
For the skiers among the visitors Ski Völkl demonstrated technical improvements to their products, made with the aid of SAR developed assembly and testing systems.
Wide range of Exhibits
Diverse exhibits covering topics such as quality control, gripper technology and dosing components ensured many quick discussions with visitors.
In this manner we would like to once again heartily thank all our customers and interested parties for their visit to our stand at the expo.
